Villa Faros, Stroumbi The villa, built about a year ago, is idyllically situated in a one-acre vineyard located down a small lane about 1 1/2 KM from the village of Stroumbi. The closest neighbour being approx. 300m back towards the village, where 2 villas are in the process of being built, the villa is in a unique secluded spot, with only local vine-tenders passing by. Stroumbi is a very Cypriot village with 2 local English speaking tavernas, a garage and supermarket. The larger towns of Paphos and Polis are about 15 to 20 minutes by car, where you will find beaches, supermarkets, banks and plenty of places to eat out. The villa has 4 double-bedrooms with 3 bath/shower rooms. The kitchen and utility rooms are very spacious, equipped with a large American fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen features a breakfast bar and granite worktops throughout. The centre of the villa is an enormous sitting/dining room with one side being of large sliding French windows overlooking the rear terrace and pool area, and facing down a picturesque valley, of mostly vines and orchards, to the sea, . The views from the house and terrace change dramatically with the seasons. In the winter you can see the snow on the Troodos Mountains, in the Spring the green & yellow flowers speckling the valley, in the Summer the green of the grapevines and gold of the wheatfields. At night you can see the lights from the small villages in the hills twinkling in the distance, many miles away. The pool is 10m x 4.5m with spa jets and a seat at the shallow end, with a large paved patio equipped with sun-loungers, parasols and tables. The property has the benefit of an integrated air conditioning system, although the weather is very pleasant at this level and inside the building is very cool due to the high ceilings. It is equipped with satellite TV, DVD (plays music CD's), Video. Due to the secluded location, a car is be essential
